This policy explains how Idle & Awake Essays (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit this website.

1. What we collect

We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t run comment forms or newsletters. We do not collect your name or email unless you email us.

Technical data. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to deliver pages safely — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics.

Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.

Your preferences. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device only.

2. Advertising and cookies

This site is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense.
